Moderate to heavy rains is expected to occur over the western section of Luzon (Pangasinan, Zambales down south to Batangas and Mindoro including the National Capital Region) and Panay Island due to the southwest monsoon, which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Light to moderate rains will continue to be experienced over the rest of Luzon. Meanwhile, a shallow low pressure area was estimated at about 920 km East of Northern Luzon (17.5°N 130.5°E).
